Rain City Brigade is an independent supporters group for the Vancouver Whitecaps F.C.
RCB was established in 2010 when a group of friends, who all followed the Whitecaps, decided to get together and create a group to formally support the team in a way that was true to them. What started out as a way for a couple of friends to hang out, drink beer and watch the sport we all love, soon became the social events that many look forward to every Whitecaps game day.
They are passionate supporters from all walks of life, and from all corners of the world, ready to give their all for the full 90+ minutes to support the Whitecaps, win, lose or draw. Meeting up a couple of hours before the games to get the crew together, RCB can be seen and of course heard on a pre-game march down to the stadium before kickoff. The group quickly attracted like-minded individuals and after a few seasons plus a couple of different stadiums, the group has grown to almost two-hundred members over the past three years.
Originally located in the ‘East side’ corner of the stadium in section 248, RCB provided the link between the supporters sections and the other areas of the stadium, helping to spread the Supporter Group passion to the uninitiated. RCB will be moving to section 201 for the 2014 season, bringing them closer to the action and building a stronger wall of support for our boys on the pitch. Group trips are organized for away games in the Pacific North West and RCB make every effort to bring the noise into their Cascadia rival stadiums.
Easily identifiable by the distinct logo and merchandise, Rain City Brigade is gaining a lot of attention in and outside the stadium. If you are interested in signing up for the Brigade, feel free to approach any of the members of the group, contact us through social media, or send us a message through the contact form at the bottom of the page.
